Naxxramas Spider Quarter
Spider Quarter
The Spider Quarter is home to three fun bosses. Each that require unique strategies to defeat. It is in the north eastern section of Naxxramas. The bosses include: Anub'Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina and Maexxna.
Anub'Rekhan
Anub'Rekhan uses an ability called Locust Swarm (much more damage in Wrath of the Lich King.) Start tanking Anub in the north side of the room (left side in picture) and swap him to the right side during Locust Swarm.
There will also be adds which should be moved and off tanked in the center closer to the ranged dps and healers and killed immediately.
Anub will cast Impale which will throw up spikes in a direct line between him and the targeted character. Avoid standing between any other party member and the boss during this fight. Melee will also want to avoid standing in front of Anub at all times as he uses a frontal cleave ability.

Grand Widow Faerlina
Tank Faerlina away from the platform and tank the 4 Worshippers on the platform. When Faerlina goes into Frenzy you must move one worshipper near her and kill it, to end her Frenzy. To ensure that you can do this in time, assign someone to bring all the Worshippers to about 20% health so they are ready to be killed when needed.
Faerlina will also use a poison DoT on random members which will need to be cleansed and will call for moderate group healing.

Maexxna
Maexxna may provide a little bit of trouble for unseasoned groups. Here are some tips that will help kill her.
* Assign a hunter to web duty. Periodically a member of your party will be webbed and attached to the outside of the room and need to be attacked in order to be freed.
* Have all ranged stack behind Maexxna. Every 30-40 seconds she will summon 4-5 spider minnions which should be AoE'd immediately. You should stack together to ensure that they also stay together and are easier to kill.
* About 10 seconds after the spider minnions are spawned, Maexxna will use Web Spray trapping your raid. It's important to see this coming and use healing over time heals on your main tank who will continue to take damage.
* Be prepared, once Maxxnae reaches around 30% health she will Frenzy. She will continue to Web Spray, which is an easy wipe if your group is not prepared.
