As the date of the Cataclysm expansion draws nearer and nearer we will see not only the upheaval of the in virtual world, but also the shake up of many of the support systems in place for gamers in the real world. Expansions are classically the times that seperate the 'men from the boys' when it comes to many aspects of real world game coverage.

There are two major talent builds that are primarily seen being used by a Rogue doing DPS in raids. You won't be surprised to learn that neither of them are in the Subtlety talent tree. Some of you may be interested in watching this video below that shows Hayden herself power leveling a character to level 80 in 2 days 20 hours and 39 minutes using one of the worst classes there is to level (rogue, sorry rogues).

As I recently started leveling up another character it came to my attention that some people were still unaware that you can transfer heirloom items to characters of the opposite faction. For example, if you already have a bunch of heirloom items on some alliance toons you can now send your heirloom items to a horde character on that same server.

Don't get too excited about the prospect of possibly transferring gold or bags to this character though because it still cannot be done, but I'd say that the ability to mail the heirlooms is something good.

There are tons of guides out there today for World of Warcraft. Some are free and some cost money. The free ones typically are updated whenever the person who made it feels like updating it or they are never updated. They are also typically far less useful than some of the paid guides.

The paid guides come with things such as newsletters, updates, and technical support. They are also typically rather large and contain a lot of useful information.

Dugi is at it again with a brand new leveling guide, unlike any on the market today. Introducing, Dugi's Dungeon Leveling Guide.

This guide uses dungeon finder to help you level all the way from 1-80. It uses an in game addon to tell you where to go and what to do for leveling via dungeons. First off, you will do 1-15 outside of the dungeons and once you hit level 16 you will be directed to which dungeons to complete.

Leveling guides have been around for a long time, but none are more memorable than Kopp and Joana, basically the founders of World of Warcraft leveling guides. From there more people get involved, programming came into play, and many things developed.

Some are fast, some are easy, some claim to be both; but what one's the best is a question only you can answer.

It was recently announced on Almost Gaming that Hayden Hawke, the author of The Secret Gold Guide, was releasing a leveling guide. Although I am unaware of the exact release date of the guide it appears to be soon and I have had the special opportunity of reviewing the guide before its official release.

To accompany her gold guide Hayden Hawke has announced the release of her Leveling Secrets guide which is due out sometime within the month.

The leveling secrets guide is supposed to take a new approach to leveling and restore some methods that have been ignored but were once the fastest way to level until the current leveling guide creators convinced people otherwise.

For those of you eagerly awaiting the Cataclysm expansion you might be excited to hear that there have been rumors floating around lately that the Friends and Family Testing for the expansion will begin in April. Yes, April, and what month is it?....April!

For reference, beta invites for Wrath of the Lich King were sent out approximately 4 months before the expansion was officially released. So don't get too eager or excited because there are still a lot of months ahead of us before the expansion is actually out.
