Cooking Quests

There are 5 Dalaran Cooking Quests given by your faction's Cooking Trainer in Dalaran (located in each faction's Inn.) You will be able to do 1 of these quests (randomly selected) every day to earn Dalaran Cooking Awards and various types of Spices. You can use the Dalaran Cooking Awards to purchase Cooking Recipes which are significantly better than those learned at the trainer.

With the introduction of Patch 3.1 there are new Daily Fishing Quests that can be obtained from Marcia Chase in Dalaran (near the fountain). Doing these dailies everyday is a great way to make gold and earn some fun fishing rewards. Aside from using this guide, you can learn a ton of ways to make tons of gold here.

Cooking is a great secondary profession to have for a character especially with the the release of WotLK new recipes that can greatly enhance a characters ability to get specific stats higher for leveling, grouping, or raiding.

This guide is all about getting to that fishing skill of 450 so you can start farming those fish you need no matter where they are to gain stat food or simply farm to sell for gold. Following this guide will guarantee that you don't spends days fishing to get your skill up to 450.

With the release of WotLK it has brought daily jewelcrafting quests that reward you with new recipes and items that are necessary to upgrade your character. So once you have achieved a high enough skill using my guide here on this site you can now do the Jewelcrafting daily quests.

You will need to be level 65 and have a jewelcrafting skill of 350 in order to do the daily quests; which can reap great rewards and gold.

When I started doing research in how to gear up my Paladin I found that a lot of the gearing is the same as for my Warrior, for that reason this guide ended up looking a lot like my Warrior Pre-Kara guide. The most significant difference is that you're going to want to get some decent +Spell Damage. The best place to do this without sacrificing other stats is to put it on your sword. Since your sword does not need to have high damage (most of your threat is generated through Holy Spell Damage).

This Jewelcrafting leveling guide will help you with leveling your Jewelcrafting from 1-450. Jewelcrafting is a great profession to combine with Mining due to prospecting if you're starting a character from level one or very early on.
