Moroes - Karazhan Strategies

Class Requirements:

-Two Tanks
-Two viable forms of CC for Undead

Abilities

• Basic melee: 1600-2500 damage on plate wearers.
• Vanish: Vanishes, does not reset aggro.
• Garrote: After reappearing from vanish he will immediately garrote someone, dealing 1000 damage every 3 seconds for five minutes, a total of 100k damage. Can be removed by Divine Shield, Blessing of Protection, Ice Block, and Stoneform.
• Blind: A poison that occasionally blinds a target in melee range, causing them to wander. Dispellable. If one tank is gouged and the other tank is blinded, Moroes will run rampant on the group.
• Gouge: Gouges the person with the highest threat, incapacitating them for a few seconds. Moroes will then attack the person with the second highest threat.
• Enrage: When Moroes' health reaches 30% he will enrage.

Dinner Guests

Moroes will have 4 dinner guests with him that you will have to either CC or kill. The possible dinner guests are:

Baroness Dorothea Millstipe (Shadow Priest)
Baron Rafe Dreuger (Retribution Paladin)
Lady Catriona Von'Indi (Holy Priest)
Lady Keira Berrybuck (Holy Paladin)
Lord Robin Daris (Arms Warrior)
Lord Crispin Ference (Protection Warrior)

Strategy

Your MainTank and Offtank should Run in and both Pick up Moroes. Your group should have atleast 2 CCs for this fight. Its best to CC either the warriors or the paladins. After your tanks pick up Moroes and your CCs are set your DPS should immediatly proceed to killing the shadow or holy priests first if you have them. Your group should kill atleast 2 adds before doing DPS on moroes. If your group has weak CC or great DPS feel free to kill all 4 adds before concentrating on Moroes. Once all the adds are down its just a tank and spank. Heal through the garrots and burn him.
